Motorola is bringing back its legendary Moto Razr flip smartphone

Lenovo is resurrecting the Moto RAZR flip smartphone back to life

Many of you will remember the sleek and thin Moto RAZR V3 which took the world by storm in 2004. Moto RAZR V3 turned out the one of the biggest hits from Motorola stables and eventually over 130 million units were sold in total. In those glory days owning a Moto RAZR Vr was a status symbol and a sure shot head turner.

Twelve years hence, enter Lenovo, which now control Motorola. Seeking to repeat the legendary success of Moto RAZR V3, Lenovo appears to be prepping a relaunch of this legendary model, according to its teaser video of a nostalgic walkthrough at a high school.

“Flip back to the Razr days of yesteryear and get ready for the future.”

One thing is sure, Lenovo is going to bet on Android for the upcoming RAZR flip smartphone, and we’re already quite stoked about that. The big unveil will take place at Lenovo Tech World on June 9th.

If all goes according to Lenovo plan, the new RAZR flip phone will overtake all the Moto Gs and X’s in sales.
