Endurance Group’s Hosting Companies BlueHost, Hostgator, Justhost, FastDomain and HostMonstor Hacked By Syrian Electronic Army

After lying low for a while, the pro Assad regime hacker group Syrian Electronic Army (SEA) today hacked the Endurance International Group Inc held hosting companies Bluehost, Hostgator, Justhost, HostMonstor which are some of the worlds biggest hosting companies.

Announcing the hack on Twitter, SEA posted the screenshots of the control panels of these web hosting companies. The screenshots show that SEA had complete access to the control panel of these hosting companies.

The hack first came into notice after a tweet was fired from Syrian Electronic Army using the hijacked Account of Bluehost. Later the same was announced on official Twitter account of SEA

SEA said that the reason for hacking these hosting companies was they were hosting terrorist websites on their servers. SEA has been at the forefront of attacking the IS and its affiliated websites and even today it has hacked a website of Islam Army

In one of the tweets, SEA warned the hosting providers that next time they will change their DNS settings.

When contacted, the SEA spokesperson told TechWorm that they had gained access to all the local-control panels of these hosting companies. The SEA spokesperson said,

“We gained access to all the local-control panels of the hosting companies after establishing 2 VPN connections to both Endurance and Bluehost local networks.”

  1. For hosting terrorists websites???? So they might be talking about their own sites, since they are terrorists in and outside the web. Syrian Electronic Assholes.
