Hackers Broadcast Porn on TV Screens at Brazil Bus Depot

Hackers managed to infiltrate the travel information video screens at a Brazilian bus station and replace the arrival and departure times displayed on it with hard core NSFW videos.

The commuters at busy bus station at Boqueiro station in the southern city of Curitiba in Brazil were left flabbergasted on Friday, when the giant TV screens fitted around the bus station, which were meant to show the arrival and departure timings of the buses, suddenly started airing hard core videos. Many of the commuters were furious with the authorities but some laughed the issue off and started enjoying the show which lasted nearly 15 minutes till the authorities pulled the plug.

Some of the commuters started taking photographs and videos of the proceedings and shared it on the social media which instantly caught the trend and lit up with jokes of the hack.

As of now the identity of the hackers is not known but the police said that the cyber crime unit has been notified and is trying to trace the hackers. Additionally the company which has the contract to operate the giant TV screens has also been notified to beef up its offline and online security.

With a population of around two million, Curitiba is the capital of Parana state and one of the largest cities in southern Brazil.
