Americans watched a lot of porn during the recent 'Snowzilla' blizzard, Pornhub reports

Pornhub’s traffic skyrocketed during the recent snowstorm in Eastern United States

Last week, the entire East Coast of the U.S. was engulfed in a massive snowstorm which was called Snowzilla. Millions of Americans were trapped in their homes and for many it was a chance to spend time with their families, play a few video games or even Netflix and chill.

But it seemed many of Americans indulged in self love by watching porn on Pornhub. According the data compiled by Pornhub, its traffic skyrocketed during the recent snowzilla in USA.

Pornhub reported that it compiled data after receiving a request from GQ.com.

The figures – which were initially provided to GQ – were part of a survey looking at website traffic for the four major cities affected by the snow: New York, Boston, Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia.

Although millions were affected by Snowzilla, the survey indicated that Boston’s traffic increased as much as 8% on Saturday, when compared to traffic on a normal Saturday. Similarly, New York jumped 9% on Saturday and remained 8% higher on Sunday.

In Philadelphia, it was Sunday that saw the biggest traffic change with an impressive 14% increase. The nation’s capital takes the cake – with an average increase of 23% over the 3 storm days, peaking at 25% on Sunday.

In fact, the nation’s capital saw its largest Pornhub spike on Sunday—the day after the storm had passed, and when you’d think people would be ready to venture outside.

Looks like Americans have found something to indulge their time in times of difficulty.
