For the love of the 2008 video game : Mirror’s Edge mod for Call of Duty 4 (Video)
If you have a PC that features hardware for gaming purposes, then you will be pleased to know that it comes with modding tools that give you an in-depth experience that console gamers will never have access to.
Mirror’s Edge, the 2008 game whose mechanic revolved around parkour is getting a sequel this year, and a very talented modder has managed to insert an entire landscape of the game inside the popular first person shooter, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, perhaps to give us a reminder that the sequel will be upon us.
Modder SuX Lolz has definitely put his talent to good use as you can see in the video below. The video right at the bottom shows a walkthrough of the 2008 video game, and we have placed it there for comparison purposes. Needless to say, his efforts definitely deserve applaud.
Sure, there are details missing, which you will be able to see if you managed to pay extreme attention to both videos, but other than that, it is a stellar amount of effort on the individual’s part. The exciting thing about this mod is that the modder is not quite done with his project.
Lolz also intends on adding a number of secrets to the map and is also thinking of bringing it to Black Ops 3, if modding tools for the latest first person shooter ever become available to him.
