900,000 hacked Brazzers accounts, usernames and passwords put for sale at $600

900,000 hacked Brazzers usernames and passwords now available for sale on Dark Web for 0.94 Bitcoins ($600)

Do you remember the mega breach when hackers took Brazzers to cleaners and stole nearly 900,000 user details? Yes, in September 2016, unknown hackers breached BrazzersForum and stole nearly 900,000 Brazzers accounts. The data breach of Brazzers forum puts Brazzers users who never signed up also at risk as the forum database is said to have their details as well.

Now investigative reporters from HackRead have found the very same user data dumb for sale on the underground forum on the dark web. According to a report on HackRead, a vendor by the name of DoubleFlag is selling the Brazzers data dump on an unnamed underground forum on the dark web.

According to the report, DoubleFlag is also selling EpicGames and ClixSense data dump in addition to the Brazzers username and passwords dump. The Brazzers’ database contains 928,072 accounts including usernames, emails and their plaintext passwords and is being sold for BTC 0.9412 (USD 600).

The Brazzers data leak was supposed to have contained 790,724 unique email addresses, usernames and plaintext passwords. However, now with the username and passwords dump being containing 928,072 usernames sold on the underground forum which is much more than the security researchers originally calculated.

At that time Matt Stevens, public relations manager from Brazzers had told Motherboard in an email, “This matches an incident which occurred in 2012 with our ‘Brazzersforum,’ which was managed by a third party. The incident occurred because of a vulnerability in the said third party software, the ‘vBulletin’ software, and not Brazzers itself.”
