Enjoy the dual driver tech into their latest pair of headphones, the BlitzWolf BS2

Enjoy your hearing experience with BilitzWolf BS2 headphones with first ever dual driver tech

How do you listen to your audio? Headphones have been around for ages, and although you’ve probably been through a few different styles, little has changed in the actual parts that count, the drivers.

The best standard drivers are tuned to sound great and have diaphragms engineered to widen frequency range. With all this tech you still can’t beat the physical limitations of a single driver. When a single driver is pressed to produce a full range, it will distort much easier than if it was only covering a smaller range. The wider the range, the greater the distortion.

Dual Sounds Better.

Quality home theater and car audio split the frequency into a Subwoofer, midrange, and tweeter. The same logic is packed into dual driver earbuds.

Dual Sounds Better.

When dual drivers blend, you have a full-spectrum of sound that a single driver could never replicate. Less distortion, more volume. What you listen to will sound more natural and almost realistic.

BlitzWolf packed dual driver tech into their latest pair of headphones, the BS2. These headphones deliver a mouth-watering sound experience unrivaled to the capabilities of a single driver. Released in mid-2017, they have been rated as excellent value for money and produce sound that rivals much more expensive professional audio equipment.

Unboxing the BS2 is where it all begins, the full package includes a gift box and zipper carry bag.

Dual Sounds Better.

Both straight mate black and a vibrant accented red versions of the BS2 have a semi-transparent case so you can see the drivers in action. From the box to your ears, the BS2 is a quality experience.

BlitzWolf also has an outstanding reputation for speakers, fast chargers, cables, and other phone accessories. Their previous headphones are made with the latest tech including graphene drivers.

Dual Sounds Better.

Dual drivers are not a new concept, but in the past, they were relegated to the top end. Sound engineers and musicians have been enjoying the wider sound range that dual drivers bring for years. BlitzWolf’s dual drivers offer excellent sound, and from the gift box to the sound output, the BS2  Your ears and eyes will be impressed.

The Mobile age of Aquaris on the Ubuntu Linux platform

ubuntu phone

The Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition, an Ubuntu mobile device based on a Linux distro, branched from Debian, is bringing a open-source mobile unit with the launch of its first smartphone.

Christened as ‘Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition’ and will be hitting the European market next week (sorry not in the USA) as the for €169.90, and is manufactured by Spain-based BQ.

The Aquaris E4.5 has a 4.5-inch (540 x 960) qHD display, (Quad High Definition) that is a resolution standard for high-end monitors, televisions and mobile devices.

The device features a 5 megapixel front camera, and a 8 megapixel rear camera which is also equipped with high-quality BSI sensors and a Largan lens.

It features a MediaTek Quad Core Cortex A7 processor which runs at up to 1.3 GHz with 1GB RAM. While there’s no LTE (Long-Term Evolution) option, and the onboard storage is limited to 8GB the Aquaris allows for memory storage expansion via a microSD card and also has two micro-SIM slots.

The Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition is aimed at the budget-conscious phone buyer, the Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition phone, of course, faces stiff competition from less expensive mobile alternatives from the excellent Moto E on the Android platform as well as Microsoft’s latest Lumia devices running on the Windows platform.

Canonical, believes it has a unique proposition to offer consumers with its concept of Scopes, a reinvention of the mobile UI which present a new way to rapidly and visually access services directly on the home screen instead of burying content within multiple apps in an icon grid. By foregoing the conventional app-based interaction model in favor of

“a new UI paradigm, designed to deliver content and services directly to categorized home screens, giving users a rich, un-fragmented experience.”

Allowing content aggregation by serving web videos from YouTube and Vimeo as well as one’s own recorded media on the same screen.

Before this, there was a crowd funding campaign for the ‘Ubuntu Edge’ where Canonical wanted to push the high-end smartphone as a powerful Linux phone that once docked with a monitor, mouse, and keyboard – it could turn into a powerful desktop PC, but the $32 million fell short of expectations.

Now both Cristian Parrino, VP of Mobile at Canonical, and Rodrigo del Prado, Deputy Director General of BQ, are putting their heads together in a new strategy to make a play at the difficult and fickle mobile market. Now with the initial release in the European market they are focusing on “convergence” across its desktop and mobile versions to work seamlessly across hardware form factors and allow for developers to reach multiple hardware platforms with minimal changes to their code base.

For better or for worse there will be no initial retail availability of the Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition. It will be on sale with sporadic flash sales over the coming weeks, recruiting early adopters (beta testers?) in its aim to build up the Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition into a viable mobile platform. A risky play with the competition but we shall see how it plays out.

Apple initiates replacement program for defective iPhone5 power buttons

If you have an iPhone 5 with a flaky power button, good news: Apple has just organised an iPhone 5 Sleep/Wake Button Replacement Program that will replace your button, even if your phone’s warranty has expired. The program begins today(26th April,2014) in the US and Canada, and it will launch on May 2 in other countries.
Apple initiates replacement program for defective iPhone5 power buttons

Apple said on its user-support page that “iPhone 5 models manufactured owing to March 2013 may be unnatural by this come forth,” in which the pin, also known as a sleep/wake mechanism, stops functioning or facility only intermittently.

Enter your serial number on Apple’s page to see if you’re eligible for the program—if your phone has other damage ( a cracked screen), that damage will first have to be fixed at your expense. If you’re one of those holdouts running iOS6, your phone will also be upgraded to iOS 7 as part of the repair.

If your phone is eligible, you can send it in by mail or bring it to an Apple store or to a service provider yourself. Repairs will take between four and six days, but 16GB loaner iPhones will be available for you to use while yours is being repaired, if you need one. My experience has been that most Apple stores will simply swap broken, in-warranty devices for working new or refurbished devices rather than repairing your specific unit, but the iPhone 5 has been out of production for several months at this point—Apple may not have enough left in circulation to replace all of the affected phones outright.

NOKIA completes deal with MICROSOFT

Nokia has completed the 5.44 billion-euro ($7.5 billion) sale of its troubled cellphone and services division to Microsoft on Friday(25th April,2014), closing a chapter in the former world leading cellphone maker’s history that began with paper making in 1865.

The Friday closure of the deal, which includes a license to a portfolio of Nokia patents to Microsoft Corporation, follows delays in global regulatory approvals and ends the production of mobile phones by the Finnish company, which had led the field for more than a decade, peaking with a 40-percent global market share in 2008.

Nokia said the total transaction price would be “slightly higher” than when it was originally announced on Sept. 3 because of adjustments made for net working capital and cash earnings. The deal had to close during the first quarter but was held up because of delays in approvals, including from China.

To reverse the slide, Nokia teamed up with Microsoft in 2011, replacing its old operating system with one based on Windows, but it took them eight months to produce the first Nokia Windows Phone, and consumers didn’t warm to the handset or subsequent models.

Nokia will now focus on networks, mapping services and technology development and licenses, saying it will give more details of the deal and future plans when it releases first-quarter earnings on April 29. It is also expected to name the new Nokia CEO.
Nokia said two plants will remain outside the deal — a manufacturing unit in Chennai, India and the Masan plant in South Korea, which it plans to shut down.

The Nokia headquarters in Espoo, near the Finnish capital, Helsinki, were draped Friday in a banner with the words “On the Move.” They will be taken over by Microsoft and Nokia’s remaining workers in the area will move to nearby offices.

Microsoft said that former Nokia CEO, Stephen Elop will serve as executive vice president of the Microsoft Devices Unit, which will include Nokia’s former Lumia smartphones and tablets. Microsoft Mobile Oy, a subsidiary of Microsoft, will develop, manufacture and distribute Lumia, Asha and Nokia X mobile phones and other devices, it said.
Nokia Corp.’s share price remained almost unchanged, closing at 5.25 euros on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.

LookOut Further Explains that “Through Q3 2013 Adware began to fall. By late 2013 the biggest offenders, Lead Bolt, and RevMob updated their advertising SDKs to be compliant with the new guidelines providing a much less intrusive experience to users.”

The LookOut report further warns that the Adware is still frequently encountered by mobile users, with SDKs bundled into apps that steal personal data and insert “occasionally disruptive, often offensives adverts” into the user experience. It also states that the Adware encounters mostly in Smartphone users.

LookOut claims that “In this world where our personal phones are used in the corporate workplace, gaining unprecedented access to valuable information, it is even more important than ever before that we police advertising networks, Ensuring that they, and the apps that carry them, are built from the ground up with privacy and security in mind is the only way we will prevent criminals from adapting to this latest opportunity.”

Lookout’s new report also notes that there is a rise of another mobile Malware category, “chargeware”. These “Chargeware” Apps refers to apps – which often focused on pornographic content – that are deliberately unclear about how they charge users, and how those people can unsubscribe.
