Asus set to launch ZE551ML smartphone with 4GB RAM in India, claims to be a ‘Monster’

Asus ZenFone 2 is stealing the spotlight. The Taiwan based company’s handset that will come in three versions will have a ‘monster’ too that will come with 4GB RAM. This is simply remarkable and it is claimed to take the performance of the handset to a all new level.

The fact that you need to have some great purpose to use this powerful handset cannot be denied. This powerful handset cannot be simply used for just talking or checking your email or casual internet browsing. It is meant for people who utilize their smartphones as their main work machine and who can change it as per their needs. It may also be suitable for those who like to play powerful games while they are on the move. However, If you don’t belong to any of these two categories of people then it is recommended that you should not opt for it.

The company has stated that its ZenFone 2’s one version called model ZE551ML will have 4GB of RAM. However, other versions will have 2GB of RAM and 5 and 5.5-inch of display.

The most powerful version with an enormous 4GB RAM was exhibited to an all ears media yesterday in New Delhi. Peter Chang, who is heading the company’s South Asia market emphasized that the company will be concentrating on the 4GB model of the ZenFone 2 series. He even suggested that the company is ready to give a tough competition to the biggest players in the Indian market with this year’s launch.

It is pointless to say that this version Asus ZenFone 2 ZE551ML is gem of a handset and bowls you over even as you play with it for a short while.

Though mostly Asus products are always good but when it comes to design it beats all its previous versions. The most important feature of the improvement is the fact that the screen bezel on the new ZenFone 2 has been significantly reduced in width to achieve a 72 percent screen-to-body ratio for a better viewing experience. The company says that the latest version has been made to actually fit into the body of the first-generation ZenFone 5 which came with smaller body.

Coming to specifications of the handset, it comes with significant improvements too, other than the RAM. Nevertheless, it must be emphasized that ZenFone 2 ZE551ML is the first handset to come in India with 4GB of RAM.

When it comes to display, the handset or the phablet –whichever way you see –the handset comes with 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920-pixel) IPS display with 403 pixels per inch. This in turn would provide a stimulating display experience to users. In addition, the handset also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection.

As far as processor is concerned, the handset comes with quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor clocked at 2.3GHz. The smartphone also comes with microSD card slot which could be utilized to store another additional 64GB of data. The handset comes with 3000mAh non-removable battery which is slightly smaller in comparison to the 3300mAh one seen on the Asus Zen Fone 6.

Let’s move to the operating system. The dual-SIM Asus ZenFone 2 comes loaded with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box with the company’s ZenUI cover on top.

Cameras, these days have undoubtedly become the very important feature of smartphones. Asus Zenfone 2 comes loaded with 13-megapixel back autofocus camera with Asus’s PixelMaster technology. In addition, it also has 5 mega pixel front facing selfie camera.

The top model of the smartphone Asus ZenFone 2 model ZE551ML with 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM has been selling approximately with Rs 20000 price tag in Taiwan. It is expected to have the same price in India as well.
