Razer collaborates with Maingear for the ultimate gaming PC

PC systems integrator of custom gaming desktops, notebooks and workstations, Maingear announced its collaboration with the world leader in connected devices and software for gamers, Razer for the ultimate gaming PC called the Maingear R1 Razer Edition to pair with Razer’s gaming accessories at the IFA 2016 in Berlin, Germany.

The R1 Razer Edition is a sleek, modern black box with green glowing effects, and a neatly organized interior. Further, the optional liquid cooling system feature also green lighting. Beside the looks, it also has Maingear’s customizable components and their internal Origami Wiring.

The base model starts at $999 and is 4K and VR ready, with a 3.2GHz Core i5, 8GB of RAM, a GeForce GTX 1060 and a 1TB hard drive. By adding $99 to the base price, you can increase the memory to 16GB. If money is no constraint, you can ensemble the R1 with the aforementioned liquid cooling as well as up to a 10-core i7, 128GB of RAM, dual GeForce Titan X video cards, and interesting storage options like a 1.2TB PCI Express solid-state drive (SSD).

The R1 Razer Edition is available for purchase on Maingear’s website. Orders should begin shipping to consumers in October.
