Huawei’s latest offering Honor 6 Plus to go on sale in United Kingdom on 1st May

Huawei Honor 6 Plus, Huawei’s iPhone 6 killer to be available for United Kingdom users from May 1 for £299.99.

The Honor 6 Plus, billed by Huawei as Apple’s iPhone 6 killer is going on sale in United Kingdom on on May 1. According to sources, it will be available to UK users for a price of £299.99 (approx. $440) off-contract and will be available at Three stores across UK.

On the outset, Honor 6 Plus looks like a definitive cross between Apple’s iPhone 4s and Sony’s Xperia Z. Honor 6 Plus sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels which gives 401 ppi (pixels per inch.)

Under the hood it packs Huawei’s own octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 925 processor which will be backed by a 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Users can expand the memory to 128GB via a microSD expansion slot.

For creative geniuses, Huawei Honor 6 Plus packs a 8-megapixel front as well as rear shooter. Honor 6 Plus will come with Huawei’s default Emotion UI and support dual-SIM. Users may note that Emotion UI doesnt support Google Play or Google Apps.
