Coca-Cola has developed a selfie bottle with an inbuilt camera in the base
The selfie craze has touched everybody who owns a smartphone! If the selfie stick wasnโt enough to satisfy the need for taking a selfie and posting it on your social media accounts, you can now take self-portraits using a โselfie bottleโ from Coke.
The โselfie bottleโ was designed by Coca-Cola, Israel after it spotted a selfie-sized hole in the soft drink market. The bottle contains a built-in camera at its base and includes a sensor to detect when the bottle tilts 70 degrees during a sip, at which point the camera will snap a photo of the user mid-drink.
Using the Coca-Cola โSelfie bottleโ you can take your self-portrait which you can instantly share with your friends on online platforms like SnapChat, Facebook, and Instagram.
As said above, the Coca-Cola Selfie Bottle is fitted with an in-built camera at its base and a sensor to detect when it is tilted to 70-degree, at which point the camera takes a snap of its owner mid-drink.
The โSelfie Bottleโ has been devised by Gefen Team for the Coca-Cola Summer Love campaign โ Israelโs largest outdoor brand event.
โUsers tag themselves and their friends in photos on Coca-Colaโs social media assets. It really does the trick and makes the partygoers more present and active during the event, knowing they can share their special moments just by drinking,โ Coca-Cola said in a statement.
Coca-Cola has said that the selfie bottle is limited edition and won’t be sold at the outlets.
