Japanese manufacturer VAIO announced the new 10th Gen Core i7 processor (Comet Lake) mobile notebook laptops, VAIO SX12 and VAIO SX14.
Both these models use Intel Core i7-10710U, which is the first U-series Hexa-core processor from the company.
While the SX12 has a 12.5-inch full HD display, the SX14 comes with a 14-inch screen and high definition 4K LCD display. Not just this, these models are super-light with the VAIO SX12 weighing 1.97 pounds (0.89 kg) and the VAIO SX14 weighing 2.32 pounds (1.05 kg).
In comparison to previous models, the VAIO SX12 and VAIO SX14 have been created with a more detailed tuning of the system’s heat radiation design so that the maximum performance of 6 cores with 12 threads can be fully utilized.
As a result, when the VAIO TruePerformance is applied, the Core i7 model achieves an overwhelming 40% improvement in performance.
While the VAIO SX12 is available in four colors: red, black, silver and pink, the VAIO SX14 is available in three colors: red, black, silver, and brown.
Additionally, VAIO also has “Editions”, which includes All-Red, All-Black, and All-Brown (limited to the SX14).
Pricing for the new models starts at $1,199 and is available now at https://us.vaio.com/, authorized resellers, and select partner retailers.
