Leaked GTA 5 Source Code Reveals Unreleased Bully 2 And GTA DLC

On Christmas Eve, ?the source code for Grand Theft Auto 5 was leaked and it revealed information about unreleased titles and projects that Rockstar might be working on behind the scenes.

Links to download the source code were shared on several sources like discord, a dark web website, and a telegram channel. After thoroughly examining the source code, fans revealed that at some point in time, rockstar was working on,

  1. GTA Tokyo
  2. Bully 2
  3. The Agent
  4. 8 Story DLC For GTAV

Sadly, most of the titles mentioned above were scrapped in favor of GTA Online.

You will be surprised to know that, Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser and some of his most trusted developers wrote a script for Bully 2 as early as 2008. Additionally, back in 2019, Bully 2 was in development at Rockstar New England but the project was scrapped within 18 months.

Additionally, there were also references to a GTA V DLC called ‘Cops N’ Crooks’.

In one of the official Grand Theft Auto leak channels on Telegram, the channel owner shared a screenshot to the stolen source code.

For those unaware, members of the Lapsus$ hacking group hacked Rockstar in 2022 and gained access to the company’s internal Slack server and Confluence wiki. Later GTA 6 alpha stage gameplay was also shared years before the official release.

Stealing and redistributing corporate data is an illegal activity and should not be entertained.
