Lenovo has launched its brand new S-series smartphone for just Rs 12,999 only.
The Lenovo S60 smartphone will be available to its customers through the company’s brand store, thedostore.com alongside Flipkart and Amazon from starting Monday.
The dual-SIM based Lenovo S60 is a mid-range phone and comes with a 5-inch large HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display.
The dual-SIM based Lenovo S60 is powered by a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 processor and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. The operating system can be updated to the Android 5.0 Lollipop also. It has a stunning 13 MP rear autofocus camera with LED flash and 5 MP front camera for the selfie dudes & queens.
It is featured with inbuilt memory of 8 GB, which is expandable upto 32 GB with a microSD card and comes with 2 GB RAM and Mali 450 MP GPU. The new S60 smartphone delivers talktime upto 30 hours and stand by upto 14 days with its 2150mAh battery.
For connectivity, it is featured with 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth 4.0 and comes with Lenovo’s super camera software, which is offering gesture controls for taking photographs. The rear camera features scene detection, face recognition, low light enhancement, Panorama, geo-tagging, burst shot, smile shot, and HDR options.
S60 is only 7.7mm thick and weights 128 grams and is listed in Graphite Grey colour. It is loaded with sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
Just like other Lenovo handsets, the Lenovo S60 also comes pre-installed with some proprietary DOit apps, such as SECUREit which will help you to track, analyze and optimize your data usage; the SHAREit app for fast phone-to-phone data transfer capability without the need for Wi-Fi or mobile network; and SYNCit to that will give you a permanent backup of all your data and whilst making it accessible on any device.
This smartphone supports 4G for the future generation and will go on sale today and will be available on the official Lenovo website, Flipkart, and Amazon India.
