iBall Slide i701 featuring 7-Inch Display, Windows 8.1 upgradable up to Windows 10
iBall has launched its latest tablet on Tuesday in the Indian market – The all new iBall Slide i701, at an attractive price of just Rs. 4,999 only. The domestic brand is calling this iBall Slide i701 the ‘world’s most economical Windows tablet,” and says it will be available across leading retail stores and e-commerce portals from Thursday onwards.
The iBall Slide i701 runs on Windows 8.1 out-of-the-box, but the company says the tablet will be upgradeable up to Windows 10 when it launched later this year. The amazing thing is that it comes with a 1-year Microsoft Office subscription, and 1TB of free OneDrive cloud storage.
The iBall Slide i701 is featured with a 7-inch HD IPS display, the iBall Slide i701 is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom SoC coupled with 1GB of DDR3 RAM. It has a 16GB of built-in storage that is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
The Slide i701 tablet is equipped with a 2-megapixel rear camera with flash, and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. The tab is powered by a 3200mAh battery, the tablet also sports connectivity such as an HDMI port, USB with OTG functionality, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, as well as 3G via USB dongle.
iBall notes the Slide i701 will come with a celebrity brand ambassador Kareena Kapoor’s autograph on the rear panel of it. HDMI cable worth Rs. 699, and three interchangeable protective covers worth Rs. 599 are absolutely FREE with this product.
