Micromax launches Canvas Nitro 2 E311 smartphone with 1.4GHz octa-core processor and Android 4.4.4 KitKat for Rs.10,399
Micromax Canvas Nitro 2โs launch in the market almost went unnoticed with everyone concentrating on the newly launched Yu Yupheria. The phone was released without any official announcement from the company and is also available for sale through multiple sources for Rs.10,399
The Micromax Canvas Nitro 2 E311 is quite same to its predecessors, the A310 and A311. The Micromax Canvas Nitro 2 E311 device has a 1.4GHz octa core processor, while the A310 and A311 had the 1.7GHz chipsets, which is the only main difference between these devices. In addition, the design has been replaced by a simple mediocre-looking form factor from a faux leather finish.
The new Micromax looks more of a lower grade phone than its successor. Further, it comes with Android KitKat, while most other releases run on Lollipop. In addition, it seems like that there would be a custom theme used for the UI.
The Micromax Canvas Nitro 2 E311 is a typical mid-budget device featuring a 5-inch 720p HD display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek octa core SOC processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. It also comes with 16GB of flash storage with can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. It is powered by 2400mAh battery and comes with a dual SIM.
On the connectivity front, it supports 3G HSPA+ networks, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. It also features a 5MP primary front snapper camera along with a 13MP secondary rear camera for photo lovers. It is available in black color only.
The Micromax Canvas Nitro 2 E311 is priced at Rs.10,399 and seems a bit pricey when compared to Micromax’s own recent releases like Canvas Spark, Yu Yuphoria and Unite. Whether the company will make an official announcement about the phone is highly doubtful.
