Microsoft has come up with its new smartphone, the Lumia 540 dual SIM phone in India on Thursday at Rs 10,199. The pre-booking of this smart phone will start from May 18.
Microsoft has introduced its amazing smart phone, the Lumia 540 Dual SIM budget Windows Phone 8.1 smart phone at an attractive price of Rs 10,199 only.
The Microsoft Lumia 540 dual SIM comes with a 5-inch HD display and runs on Windows Phone 8.1(with Denim) OS which can be upgraded up to Windows 10 Mobile OS later this year.
The new Windows smartphone features a 5-inch 720p HD IPS LCD along with an 8MP A/F rear camera with LED Flash and a 5MP front camera for the selfie enthusiasts. Powered by a 2,200 mAh battery, The Lumia 540 dual SIM will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 SoC with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. This is paired with 1GB of RAM and there is 8GB of storage which is expandable to 128GB via a microSD card.
Microsoft has also preinstalled Skype and Office on the device so that it is suitable for productivity as well as multimedia communication and consumption and is also bundling in 30GB of free cloud storage. Yes, Microsoft is also offering 30GB of free OneDrive space. In terms of connectivity, the device offers dual SIM support including Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and hotspot, GPS, 3G support and so on.
Like the previous Lumia smartphones, the Lumia 540 Dual Sim also comes with Microsoft’s Office suite which includes daily life applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote.
