Canvas Hue 2 smartphone with 5 inch AMOLED display and 3G support launched by Micromax, listed on eBay India
Even though Micromax has yet to make it official, it looks like the company is looking forward to launch the second generation of its Canvas Hue smartphone. The device has been already listed on eBay. Although, the new Canvas Hue 2 has been priced at Rs. 12,499 ($195 / €175), the customers in India can now grab the smartphone for only Rs. 11,736 ($185 / €160).
Let’s have a look at the specs. The Micromax Canvas Hue 2 comes with an Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system out of the box and offers dual-SIM support. It is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.
The smartphone features a 5-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution. It also come with 16GB of internal storage capacity, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot. In addition, it also comes with 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS with AGPS connectivity.
The Canvas Hue 2 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, while there is a secondary 5-megapixel front facing camera for selfies and video calls. On the flip side, the smartphone is backed by a 2,000 mAh battery, which may be a little too low to get you battery for 2 full days without being recharged.
As of now, eBay India is the only place where you can find the Micromax Canvas Hue 2. However, once the company makes it official, the smartphone is expected to go on sale through other major retailers across the country as well.
