New budget dual-SIM and 3G smartphone, Videocon Infinium Z51 launched at Rs. 5,400 in India
The affordable Android smartphone market in India has a new entrant in the form of the domestic smartphone maker, Videocon Mobile’s, the Infinium Z51 Nova. Priced at Rs. 5,400, the smartphone will be available via online and offline stores across India. Last month, Videocon launched the Infinium Z45 Nova+ smartphone priced at Rs. 4,900 in India.
As for the specs, this phone is a dual SIM smartphone. It comes with a 5-inch screen, which has a IPS panel that displays its visuals in a FWVGA resolution of 480 X 854 pixels.
It runs the Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad core processor chipset at its core, which is granted assistance in its operations by 1GB worth of RAM. It also offers 8GB internal storage, which can be expandable up to 32GB via microSD, as the phone offers a hybrid microSD slot.
The smartphone comes with a 2000mAh battery. It also comes pre-installed with the company’s security focused V-Safe app along with a 90-day free subscription of the V-Secure antivirus app. It measures 133.5x65x8.5mm and weighs 131 grams.
The smartphone has a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash along with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The Videocon Infinium Z51 Nova’s rear camera features Panorama mode, HDR mode, face beauty, self-timer, voice capture, smile shot, and BSI. The Infinium Z51 Nova includes an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.
On the connectivity front, the smartphone comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 3G, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE and GPS/ A-GPS. The smartphone is available in two color variants, Blue and Grey.
