Second trailer for ‘Steve Jobs’ film shows his family conflicts, Apple leadership
Universal on Thursday released a second trailer for the Danny Boyle-directed “Steve Jobs” biopic, the second trailer concentrates on the darker moments in the Apple co-founder’s life with glimpses at his ambition.
One clip depicted Jobs’ refusal to acknowledge the paternity of Lisa, his first child, while another showed how he was maneuvered out of Apple’s boardroom in a power play.
There will be a limited public premiere of ‘Steve Jobs’ on October 9, while the full scale released is planned on October 16. Michael Fassbender plays the role of Steve Jobs, where there are also other supporting actors such as Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen, and Jeff Daniels.
Steve Wozniak has claimed that the movie is one of the best cinematic representations of Jobs and the early years of Apple, despite some inaccuracies.
It has already been shown to a limited audience at the Telluride Film Festival, and will make another early screening at the New York Film Festival on Oct. 3.
