It Appears Every Celebrity Twitter Account Is Being Hacked Right Now and Here Is The Reason Why
If you have been following online reports, you would find that at least one Hollywood celebrity Twitter account is being hacked everyday and the hackers are using the hacked Twitter accounts to tweet. Even the Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg’s Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest accounts were hacked similarly.
The hackers than use this hacked celebrity Twitter accounts to tweet something about a sex tape, making an unlikely death announcement or saying, “bush did 911” causing all sorts of embarrassment to the celebrity in question.
If you thought this was a coincidence, you are mistaken. The celebrities including Mark Zuckerberg have been a victim of a larger Twitter hack that allowed the hacker to steal 32 million user ids and passwords.
The celebrity Twitter user ids and passwords seem to have been sourced from a Twitter Hack which happened recently and was reported today.
As we reported a little while earlier, a hacker with a handle [email protected] hacked into Twitter and has managed to steal 32 million Twitter user ids and passwords.
Prima facie it seems that the celebrity Twitter account hacks that are happening over past week are a result of this hack. It looks a distinct possibility that the celebrity Twitter and Mark Zuckeberg social media account hackers obtained user ids and passwords from [email protected] or somebody else on dark web underground forums who is selling the data base.

These are not all, there are many more celebrities and other Twitter users who were hacked in past few days. In some cases like Mark Zuckerberg who use a single password for all social media accounts, the hackers managed to hack into his Pinterest and LinkedIn accounts using the user id and password from Twitter.
If you are a Twitter user, change your password immediately and dont keep the same username/password for all the social media accounts. If you do so, you are sending out an open invitation to the hackers.
