I have Asus K501UX but my configuration have windows 10 Home edition and 12GB ram. I think its really awesome laptop but I just wish its keyword was a bit more rigid.
After two years comparing my Acer Aspire to my MacBook Pro, I just ditched the MacBook (delivered to my mother for office chores), what’s negative about any Mac is the amount of work the OS needs in order to deliver, I mean, you need to switch the whole system to special protected mode if you need to do some serious installation or maintenance, the software updating through the app store is a nightmare if you have changed accounts for any reason, Acer Aspire with 8 GB Ram, and Ubuntu 16.04 is beautiful.
What was the criteria? I’ve been coding on laptops for years. If you aren’t running vm’s, the processor really isnt very important. What is important: screen real estate & the ease of plugging in multiple monitors. If you are also running vm’s, save yourself the aggravation and make sure the bios supports running 64bit vm’s.
Mega useless article…. What was the criteria? Your incomes from commercials?
Pick 5 random laptop and there you go… An instant article with no basis at all.
