The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is a highly sought-after stage where tech companies from around the world come to showcase their new gadgets, including TVs, laptops, mobiles, electric vehicles, and more.
This year too is no different, as the CES 2024 is all set to kickstart from January 9, 2024, to January 12, 2024, in Las Vegas, U.S.
Now, just ahead of the CES 2024, LG Electronics Inc. has demoed the world’s first transparent and wireless 4K TV featuring an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) screen.
Called the LG Signature T OLED TV, the device comes with a massive 77-inch OLED display that allows users to see through the screen like it is transparent glass when it is switched off and turns into a 4K ultra-high resolution TV when turned on.
The TV also includes a T-Bar feature and a news and information ticker at the bottom of the screen.
Moving further, the new signature TV eliminates the need for physical cables, as it uses transparent OLED technology with wireless AV (audio-visual) transmission and reception. It only requires a power cord and is connected to other devices wirelessly. Further, the TV’s self-lit pixel technology preserves perfect picture quality while maintaining an ultra-fit design.
In addition, the LG Signature OLED T supports two modes: black screen mode and transparent mode. Users can enjoy higher-resolution conventional TV content in black mode with a simple remote control command, while in transparent mode they enjoy content coinciding with scenes or 3D media art from the window or wall behind their TV.
According to LG, the LG Signature OLED T provides four times better performance than its predecessors. Thanks to its new AI processor, the Alpha 11, and LG Electronics proprietary webOS smart TV platform.
Further, the Alpha 11 processor improves picture quality by analyzing footage at a pixel-perfect level for better color correction and detailing. Also, the chip’s new AI offers improved AI function over its predecessor.

LG Electronics has announced that the LG Signature OLED T will launch in global markets later this year, including in Korea.
