New WhatsApp Status Features: Music, Layouts & Stickers

WhatsApp is bringing a fresh wave of creativity to its โ€œStatusโ€ feature with four new creative options that allow users to express themselves with more flair, emotion, and personality than ever before.

Whether you are sharing a special moment from your wedding day, a favorite song, or just a laugh-worthy pic, WhatsApp’s newest features are all about turning your Status into a true reflection of you.

The new four additions โ€” Layout, More with Music, Photo Stickers, and Add Yours โ€” are set to roll out soon to enhance user experience and will be available to everyone on WhatsApp in the coming months.

Status on WhatsApp allows users to share updates that are visible only to their saved contacts, with end-to-end encryption ensuring privacy.

These updates often reflect personal moments โ€” big life events to everyday snapshots โ€” and the new features are designed to make those moments even more engaging and personal in a fun way.

Four New WhatsApp Feautres

Layout: Want to share more than one photo at once? With Layout, you can now create photo collages by combining up to six pictures in a single Status post. You can arrange the images in a layout as per your liking by using simple editing tools.

More with Music: Now, you can add your favorite song directly to your Status. Alternatively, you can turn that song into a music sticker and add it to a separate status post, like a selfie or video clip for that extra touch.

Photo Stickers: With this feature, you can turn any photo into a sticker and add it to your Status. You will also be able to customize the size and shape of the sticker before adding it to your Status.

Add Yours: Looking to spark a conversation? Select a picture and use the Add Yours sticker to invite your friends to join the conversation, maybe over a favorite vacation photo or a fun memory.

When they respond to your prompt, they can share it to their own Status updates, creating a chain of shared experiences across your circles.

As these new features gradually roll out, users can expect their Status updates to become more dynamic, interactive, and visually expressive than ever before.
