Angry Birds 2 now available with new features for Android smartphones and Apple iOS devices
There is some good news for Angry Birds game lovers. Now, Rovio Entertainment Ltd. has released the sequel to the first Angry Birds – Angry Birds 2 on Android and iOS.
Angry Birds, one of the most popular mobile games has come out with several versions from the time it was launched in 2009. Since its launch, the makers have released a huge variety of updates, including Angry Birds Seasons, Angry Birds Space and Angry Birds Epic, as well as tie-ins with other franchises like Angry Birds Rio and Angry Birds Star Wars. However, Angry Birds 2 is the first update with a number even though not necessarily bringing as many changes as other updates.
The sequel, Angry Birds 2 game can be now downloaded from Google Play store and Apple App store. Even though it is a free app, it comes with a lot of in-app purchases for various upgrades which end up being quite an headache. The sequel also features upgraded graphics and boss rounds and multi-stage levels.
There is a variety of new birds that one can choose from to use to best defeat the level. An improvement over the original game, it has a new fast-forward feature that allows you to omit the carnage and final counter, so that you can keep hurling birds adding an element of strategy. The pigs that serve as the game’s enemies also have been updated, bringing with them new constructions that are difficult to knock down. It also brings in modes of game-play such as lasers and new in-flight moves.
With some improvement and added features, we will have to see if Angry Birds 2 can appeal and engage game lovers like its predecessor did.
