New law Allows French Government and Intelligence officials to monitor Internet user in real time.

A new law passed by the upper house of French parliament, Under Article 13 mentions, Security forces, Intelligence Service officials and Other Government officials can Monitor Internet users in Real Time.
which Includes real time Monitoring of any laptop/computer, Mobile phones/tablets connected on Internet, to discover, ‘who is connecting to whom, from where and why’ and much more than that, all can be monitored under law.

The legislation was approved almost unnoticed, after The members of senate, in upper house of Parliament voted 164 to 146.
Government official says this is necessary for Country’s security reason to combat Terrorism, organised crime or other political threats.

‘Public liberties will be covered’ said defence minister, Jean-Yves Le Drian. 

The spying law, part of new military programming law comes just a week after it was revealed that U.S National security agency (NSA) was intercepting phone calls in france.

Though Government official says ‘public liberties will be covered’, but agencies with time can make things happen as NSA did.
