Nissan’s Twitter account gets hacked by lovestruck Mexican trying to find his Valentine

Yesterday was St.Valentine’s Day and everyone was celebrating it by gifting their Valentines that something special. A Mexican hacker chose to something unusual to show his love for his Valentine. The unknown Mexican tried to impress his Valentine Day with a hack attack.

Nissan’s official Twitter account in Mexico was hacked on Friday by an unidentified person who changed the handle’s name to “hacking for love.”

English translation : “Hi Twitter, sorry Nissan but I had to hack you for love.”

English translation : “Hacking Nissan is the most romantic thing I have done in my life.”

The unknown hacker targeted Nissan’s Twitter account because the girl he fell in love with has a Nissan car.  The hacker said he had just experienced love at first sight and needed help finding a girl he spotted climbing into a blue Nissan March in Mexico City’s trendy Polanco neighborhood.

He further described her “She was a brunette, wearing glasses, a pink blouse and black pants,” he tweeted asking Nissan’s 242,000 followers for help.

English translation : “I’m not a stalker. I just want to see the most beautiful girl in the world again so I can take her out to dinner tomorrow.”

The love hacker’s tweets were going on for an hour and a half until Nissan took back control of their Twitter account.  In the meantime judging by the retweets and favourites the unknown hacker got, he seems to have found a fan following among Nissan Mexico Twitter followers.

Nissan’s social media team deleted all the posts by the love hacker and posted the following apology:

“We apologize to our followers. Our Twitter account was a victim of a hacker in love.”

Apparently hacking is the new way to woo girls!
