Lizard Squad allegedly takes down Comcast, Charter and many more Cable companies ahead of Pacquiao Vs. Mayweather fight

The fight of 2015, Pacquiao Vs. Mayweather causes services outage in cable companies like Charter, Comcast, Time Warner Cable and many more, Lizard Squad claims responsibility for the outage

As the world got ready for the fight between Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao, cable service providers across United States reported intermittent outages.

The demand for one of the most anticipated fights of the boxing history, the Floyd Mayweather-Manny is causing disruptions in the services of cable channels.  According to DownDetector.com, Charter, Time Warner Cable, DirecTV, Dish Network and other cable providers were facing service outages.

The infamous band of hackers, Lizard Squad has claimed responsibility for bring down the services of the cable operators. They announce the same through Twitter :

  1. The day of the fight our cable was out until Sunday evening I have Comcast xfinity and it is terrible because now behind that issuation i have a stupid viruses on my laptop..
