Oukitel K10000 smartphone comes with massive 10,000 mAh battery that can charge as many as three dead iPhone 6s Plus phones
With lots of research being carried out to find the next generation of energy technology that could replace our current lithium-ion batteries, Chinese tech company Oukitel has officially announced their new smartphone called K10000 that boasts of a 15-day battery life on a single charge.
Oukitel K10000 is the first Smartphone in the world with the largest battery at 10,000mAh. With such battery storage, users need not worry as to how many hours it take to fully charge it, because it is said to take only 3.5 hours from 0 to 100. The device also supports reverse charge functionality. This means that the device can serve as a power bank as well. Also, the K10000 may last up to 15 days with normal usage. The K10000’s sensational longevity gives it quite the unique selling point.
The company claimed that the smartphone can charge three iPhone 6s or single iPhone 6s on three different times and still have 10 percent juice left.
Oukitel K10000 features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. It comes with a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor coupled with 2GB RAM. The inbuilt storage capacity is 16GB and can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The device also features smart gestures and Xender for file transfer.
Oukitel K10000 also features a new flagship with a dual-SIM functionality that runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. The device camera comes with a 2MP front-facing and 8MP rear. On the connectivity front, it comes with 3G technology, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB, and GPRS/ EDGE GPS/A-GPS. However, the insane 10,000 mAh battery accounts for the bulk of the phone’s weight, of course, making it into a rather lethal weapon.
