Ever since it’s launch Nothing Phone 1 has been in talks thanks to it’s unique design aesthics. The london based smartphone brand founded by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei is now setting eyes on the US Market.
According to some reliable reports Nothing now plans to compete against Apple iPhone by launching it’s future model in the U.S. markets. As a matter of fact, Nothing is in early conversations with US carriers about launching a new smartphone in the American markets.
In an interview with CNBS, Carl Pei stated that,
โThe reason why we didnโt launch in the U.S. is because you need a lot of additional technical support, to support all the carriers and their unique customizations that they need to make on top of Android, We felt that we werenโt ready beforeโ
He further added,
“Itโs definitely a market where thereโs already a lot of interest for our products. And if we launch our smartphones there, Iโm sure we could obtain significant growth. Now we are in discussions with some carriers in the U.S. to potentially launch a future product there,โ
Mainstream smartphone brands like Apple and Samsung already have very well established relationships with large U.S. carriers like AT&T.
You will be surprised to know that Nothing generated $20 million in revenue in 2021. The company now aims to achieve the revenue goal of $250 million in the upcoming year.
