Streaming Site Vumoo.to Goes Offline, Following ACE Action

Vumoo.to has stopped working, and the BAD news is that IT IS NOT COMING BACK.

The anti-piracy group ACE, backed by film studios and gaming companies, has managed to shut down Vumoo.to.

Last month, they visited Vietnam, the headquarters of Vumoo and other piracy sites, including Fmovies, AniWave, Aniwatch, 123movies, BestBuy IPTV, 2embed, and Y2mate.

Vumoo.to shut down

While others are still active, ACE has managed to shut down Vumoo.

The action began on Monday when the Vumoo nameservers were updated to ns3.films.org and ns4.films.org.

Both of them are the modus operandi of ACE for anti-piracy takedowns.

Vumoo.to shutdown

In an interview with a torrent news site, an ACE officer confirmed that the Vumoo went offline without the intervention of third parties.

The owner of Vumoo agreed to turn it offline voluntarily.

It is speculated that the decision was made in exchange for leniency over the potential criminal charges, which would be filed on the team.

Over the years Vumoo has become popular, clocking over 12 monthly visits to the site.

It started in 2016 as a streaming portal and became an ACE’s target after it hosted the latest movies.

ACE is Coming for All

ACE has been the leading force against piracy. This is not their first rodeo; they have been responsible for the shutdown of Animedao, Extreme-Down, amongst several dozen other sites.

If you are a fan of a streaming site, then be prepared to hear more unwelcoming news in the coming days.
