Real Madrid footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has overtakes Shakira to have most FB ‘Likes’
Footballing sensation Cristiano Ronaldo become the most liked person on the Facebook by overtaking Colombian singer, Shakira. The 30 year old footballer now has 107,125,359 likes compared to 107,084,772 for Shakira.
Cristiano Ronaldo plays for Spanish club Real Madrid C.F. and the Portugal national team. Ronaldo is also the first sportsman to cross 100 million likes in October, 2014. He joined FB in 2009. Epic Rapper Eminem is third on the Facebook likes race with Riddick and Furious star Vin Diesel and Barbadian singer, Rihanna.
He however is at a 13th place on the micro networking website, Twitter with 34 million followers. Katy Perry is the undisputed leader on Twitter with about 66.6 million followers however Ronaldo remains most followed sports person on Twitter also.
Other notable footballers on Facebook are Argentine footballer, Lionel Messi 78 million likes and former England player David Beckham on 52 million likes.
The famous Twitter users who lead the fan following ranks are Ronaldo, are Justin Bieber, Barack Obama, Taylor Swift, YouTube, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Britney Spears and Ellen DeGeneres.
