A new hack has been discovered which can crash Chrome v41 on Windows and Mac PCs. Called AwSnap! by Jblatt because of the crash windows, the bug can be sent to any PC via specially crafted message on a forum thread or comments section.
An update on GitHub suggests that only Chrome 41 is vulnerable to AwSnap! and Google has patched the bug on Chrome v42 and v42

Like the earlier Chrome hack reported by Techworm, this bug can also be used by pranksters to cause mischievous harm on thread and website. However it does not constitute a serious risk to Chrome and has been patched by Google in subsequent versions.
