No need to beg for an invite for OnePlus One as it goes invite free but OnePlus 2 when launched will be invite only
The smartphone maker OnePlus on the occasion of its anniversaryย announced that Oneplusย One will be available without an invite. Forever.
OnePlus said in a blog post,
This week marks a very special anniversary for OnePlus. Exactly one year ago this Thursday, April 23rd, we announced the OnePlus One to the world. Since then, weโve been travelling down an exciting road; one with a few bumps, yes, but also one that has ultimately led to amazing things. We look at the OnePlus One and the community that has grown around it, and we feel proud.
OnePlus One whichย runsย the CyanogenMod OS is based on Android. The phone with its killer specs is priced at justย $299 for 16GB andย $349 for the 64GB model and can be bought directly from OnePlus’ website. The smartphone is available in India through the online retailer, Amazon for Rs.16999.00 for the 16GB version andย Rs 21999.00 for the 64GB version.
OnePlus is also offering a limited one dayย 75 percent discounts on its flip covers and premium screen protectorsย to the US, Canada, the European Union, Hong Kong and Taiwan buyers.
Besides the announcement on OnePlus One, the company also said that its flagship OnePlus Two will be made from hi-quality materials and would cost a little bit more than the One, the phone when launched, will follow the same invite only method as itsย predecessor OnePlus One went through.
Earlier this month OnePlus also released its own version ofย Android 5 Lollipop-based Oxygen OS
