Motorola Moto X 3rd gen specifications leaked, to come with Snapdragon 808 SoC and will be launched in September 2015

Moto X 3rd Generation Specs Leaks suggest it wont have Snapdragon 810 SoC due to overheating issues instead will feature Snapdragon 808 SoC , Android 5.1.1 and 4GB RAM

After the flurry of flagship releases from Samsung, LG and other smartphone manufacturers, its now turn of Lenovo owned Motorola Mobility to hog some limelight with its flagship, Moto X. The Moto X 2nd generation was launched by Motorola in September last year and the Moto fans had expected the launch of  Moto X 3rd Gen in MWC 2015, which sadly did not come.

Now, STJSGadgets has leaked the specifications of Motorola upcoming flagship phone which it claims to Moto X 3rd Generation.

Moto X 3rd Generation Specs Leaked; No Snapdragon 810?

The Moto X 3rd Gen will not feature the all favourite Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC probably due to the overlying heating issues reported by users. According the STJS Gadgets Portal, Moto X 3rd Gen is going to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 SoC.  Motorola also seems to be joining the massive RAM brigade and is powering Moto X 3rd Gen with 4GB RAM.

Moto X 3rd generation is going to sport a 5.2-inch Quad HD AMOLED display with a pixel density of 565 ppi, similar to what we see on the Droid Turbo. The smartphone will have two on-board memory variants, the 32GB one and the 64GB one for the buyers to choose from.

For creativity the Moto X  3rd Gen will sport a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front snapper. It will pack a 3,280mAh battery and run on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

Reports suggest that Motorola will be looking to unveil Moto X 3rd Gen during the month of September 2015 to lure the holiday buyers in the closing months of 2015.
