Iron Man Themed Galaxy S6 Edge Smartphones Teasers Released By Samsung, Availability In Markets May Differ By Region
Earlier this month, it was reported by the Korean media that Samsung has partnered with Marvel to bring an entire series of Avengers-themed smartphones and now that smartphone’s existence has been confirmed by Samsung itself. The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge smartphones will have customized themes based on various characters and will be the first to receive the Marvel treatment. Samsung also showcased Avengers themed accessories for both these devices.
To make things even more exciting, the South Korean company has taken to Twitter to showcase what looks like the packaging for the Galaxy S6 edge Avengers Edition smartphone featuring a galactic background and labeled “Coming Soon”.
Detailed availability of Avengers-themed Galaxy S6 smartphones in markets may differ by region, which means they won’t be available everywhere, according to the South Korean company. At this point, it is exactly not clear which regions the phone may be coming to, but it is being assumed that the United States and South Korean markets are at least two of the selected locations considering the popularity of The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
In addition, it is not clear for the time being as to how many different Samsung Galaxy S6 Avengers Edition smartphones will be launched in the near future, but the one teased is the Iron Man edition. Further, besides some software-themed changes, Avengers Edition Galaxy S6 devices would be more or less the same as the standard models.
Since Samsung has already started to show teasers of these devices, the South Korean company is likely to come forward with an official statement regarding the Galaxy S6 Avengers Edition very soon.
