Yu Yureka, Yuphoria’s Android 5.1 Lollipop-Based Cyanogen OS Updates has entered Final Phase of Testing

YU YUPHORIA and YU YUREKA are soon to get a Cyanogen OS 12.1 update based on Android Lollipop 5.1 as the company stated that the latest update is in final stages of testing

Micromax Co-Founder Rahul Sharma in a post on official Yu Playgod forum reveals that interested Yureka and Yuphoria users can sign-in for the Yu beta testing program.

Sharma said, a few bugs were pointed out in the current Yuphoria software. Sharma added “Your feedback matters to us a lot and we have been working on your inputs.” The company also received complaints from some users about issues with proximity sensor. According to Sharma, the company has addressed the issues and came up with solution including the auto calibration of proximity sensor. Now the issue has been fixed with this update.

He has also said that the handset’s entire camera stack has been redone with reworked tunings. Additionally, those who can’t wait for the Android 5.1 release to reach their devices via an OTA download, can go for the CyanogenMOD 12.1 nightlies that are available now. These builds are heavily curated by the community, and are hence bound to feature more bugs than usual.
