Samsung Galaxy S7 Will Give 17 Hours Video Playback at Full Brightness

Samsung Galaxy S7 to sport massive battery which will give 17 Hours Video Playback at Full Brightness

Its that season again when the biggies of Smartphones release their flagships. Apple will be coming out with its next 4 inch iPhone iteration called iPhone 5se while Android biggie, Samsung is launching its next in the line Samsung Galaxy S7.

While Samsung failed to get the anticipated response for its 2015 flagship, the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, it is putting all efforts to get the upcoming Galaxy S7 right in all respects. What is better than to provide a massive battery for smartphone users.

While many phablets have 4,000 mAh or larger batteries, the benefits of having such a massive battery is canceled by their huge Quad HD of full HD (1080p) display. Samsung is planning something on the same lines but with a twist. It will be providing a massive battery on S7 which a rumour claims, can play 17 hours of video playback at full brightness.

This news was leaked by Russian serial leakster Eldar Murtazin. Murtazin tweeted that Samsung will provide Galaxy S7 with over 17 hours of video playback with maximum brightness. As Murtazin points out, this is certainly an absolute record for the flagship tier.

Murtazin’s leak conforms with the earlier rumour which noted Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S7 will pack a much larger battery than the Galaxy S6. However the battery capacity has not been mentioned in any leak.

According to Murtazin, it’s not the higher number of mAh that will make the Galaxy S7’s battery last longer, but a combination of technology and the operating system (Galaxy S7 will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow).

By all accounts, the Samsung Galaxy S7 battery will be in the range of 4000 mAH to give such power.
