Prepare to have your hard drive put to shame

Mobile World Congress 2016 is where manufacturers like SanDisk also come to show off their goods, and the companyā€™s latest microSD card lineup boasts data transfer speeds that will definitely put your mechanical hard drive to shame. The new product from SanDisk is called Extreme PRO microSDXC UHS-II and according to Dinesh Bahal, vice president and head product marketing at the company, states the following:

ā€œAction cameras are now the fastest-growing segment in digital imaging and drones are becoming increasingly popular, creating an opportunity for people to capture more high-capacity, high-quality 4K Ultra HD content. We designed this card specifically to address consumersā€™ needs for a faster solution when transferring massive files ā€“ and now, with nearly 3x the speed of our fastest microSD UHS-I card, this new offering dramatically reduces time spent transferring content.ā€

SanDisk Extreme PRO microSDXC UHS-II are going to be offered in the 64GB and 128GB capacities (pricing details have been given below). Coming directly to the data transfer speeds, these microSD storage cards are able to transfer speeds of up to 275MB/s. How so?
