ASUS preparing gaming laptop with the highest refresh rate ever

ASUS Republic of Gamers Laptops to be the Worldโ€™s First to Offer Super-Fast 120Hz Panel

Gaming notebooks are currently restricted to a refresh rate of just 60Hz and despite featuring the latest and greatest hardware inside them, having a refresh rate of 60Hz can be detrimental to your gaming experience. ASUS plans on changing that with the announcement of its 15 and 17-inch gaming laptops that will feature the worldโ€™s highest refresh rates, which is 120Hz.

The 120Hz refresh rate is twice as fast and will deliver a smooth experience when playing the action-genre games, particularly first-person shooters. Both 15 and 17-inch gaming laptops from the companyโ€™s ROG lineup are going to be introduced during Computex 2016, making it a spectacular event for gamers wanting to experience a fluid gameplay and that too from a notebook.

The ASUS gaming laptops will feature 120Hz Advanced Hyper-Viewing Angle (AHVA) display panels, which show off impressive image quality and contrast even when they are viewed from extreme angles. These panels present are also going to be compatible with NVIDIAโ€™s G-SYNC technology, which synchronizes the displayโ€™s refresh rate with the laptopโ€™s graphics card for those crispy smooth visuals that youโ€™re dying to experience.

Unfortunately, we are not quite sure what sort of hardware is going to be present inside these gaming notebooks, but at the bare minimum, we expect to see Intelโ€™s Core i7-6700HQ present, since four processing cores will give the gamer the much needed edge in experiencing a higher number of frames in the latest video games. As stated before, these gaming laptops are going to be introduced during Computex 2016, so let us hope that they offer a nice pricing package.

We certainly do not want to be left disappointed now do we?
