Hacker goes after sex sites, defaces 79 escort websites and steals data

Moroccan Hacker Defaces Adult Sites And Steals Data From Some Hacked Websites

A Moroccan hacker who calls himself “ElSurveillance” claims that he has been targeting adult sites and escort sites, as part of a larger campaign that he had started last summer. He claims to have defaced and stolen data from 79 escort websites.

The first batch of 71 websites was published by ElSurveillance on December 27, which was later followed by another 8 websites, the following day. Some sites belong to individual models, some belong to agencies.

In an interview with DataBreaches.net, the website he chose to let the public know of his actions, the hacker said his campaign is motivated by religious beliefs.

His most recent batch of defaced websites included only escort sites, but in the past, ElSurveillance also hacked adult portals, with his biggest target being drjizz[.]com (NSFW). A complete list of defaced websites can be viewed on his Zone-H profile(NSFW).On being asked why he was targeting escort sites, he said in a statement:

“I have been running an operation under the hashtag #EscortsOffline against the escorts website and agencies, Because I strongly believe that our bodies are gifted from Allah (God) to us to look after and not to destroy, And I always hated the idea of people selling their bodies for money which it gives a chance for the escort agencies to take advantage of these people who are in need So many women carried (HSV, HPV, and HIV ….) because they thought that they can earn easy money by join these agencies inc men But what most of people don’t really know that 99% of these agencies are fake, Scams and always ready to make money on your behalf And for what I have seen in my attacks and the databases that I took, They create fake accounts, Profiles and display fake photos that their owners don’t even know that these website have them So I decided to use my skills in something that I believe is good, And hopefully one day the other hackers will carry the same attacks to spreading the words.”

However, in the past, ElSurveillance also hacked adult portals, with his biggest target being drjizz[.]com (Caution: NSFW). A complete list of defaced websites can be viewed on his Zone-H profile (Caution: NSFW).

ElSurveillance also admitted to stealing data about user accounts from some of the targeted sites, besides taking down escort websites and putting up a standard defacement message.

He only dumped the data from the drjizz[.]com portal online. He claims to have dumped 30,263 email addresses, usernames, and plain-text passwords. Since drjizz.com’s site claims to have 20,000 registered users, there seems to be a mis-match.

The reason that ElSurveillance provides it that he wants to scare the users who visit these sites and make them think about what are they doing, and probably make them think again about registering or using some of these services.

The #EscortsOffline campaign never got popular online until now, and it appears that ElSurveillance is the only hacker who is involved in these kinds of attacks.
