Italian hacker has managed to successfully jailbreak Apple’s iOS 9.3.3

Public release of jailbreak for iOS 9.3.3 now possible after an Italian hacker cracks Apple’s latest developer version

Here is some good news for Apple jailbreaking community. The latest iOS 9.3.3 released by Apple to developers has been jailbroken. Italian hacker Luca Todesco has reportedly found exploits that allow his to jailbreak iOS 9.3.3.

To prove his claim, Luca Todesco posted an image on Twitter that shows jailbroken iOS 9.3.3. In the picture, the iPod 7 touch shows that it is running on iOS 9.3.3 and has been jailbroken to run the Cydia jailbreak store.

This however does not ensure that the jailbreak will be available to iPhone users around the world. Because, Todesco has similarly hacked the security system of previous iOS 9.3 versions but has not released the tools to public.

However this time, Todesco may release the exploit to popular hacking groups like Team Pangu and Taig which could help in release a public version of iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak.

This can be confirmed by the reply given by the Twitter handle, qwertyoruiop in a reply to a query on Twitter thread. When asked by which date the jailbreak would be available to public, the Twitter handle has given a date of 30th May.
