Hacker controls drone By Google glass, by only using head movements.

A developer Blaine Bublitz, from Coding company IcedDev, Developed a Java script code in order to turn Google glass wearable eye gear into a drone controller.

He started his work with leap motion tracker and a shieldbot and then developed a glass to control the ground based movement of the robot. he said there were few glitches as he was not able to see, where the bot was while controlling it. he needed something that could be about eye height, so that he could see the bot’s movement while controlling it.

Finally he experimented with a java script Program and developed it to enable Google glass to control a drone. The landing and take of was controlled by A & B buttons on google glass, and the control was made by slight head movements.

He said he can still add some more improvements’
“Turns out that I was driving the drone at full speed in each direction I tilted my head. I should have had the speed at about 0.3 instead of 1. Lesson learned. I would have also liked to add the ability to rotate the drone left and right based on the Glass’ azimuth value, but I guess that will have to be in the future.”
