Eurocom Sky E9E2 features unlocked Intel processors and a huge screen too
Eurocom Sky E9E2 is a gaming laptop series and one of the worldโs first to feature NVIDIAโs GeForce GTX 1080/1070 GPUs. The gaming laptops can be configured all the way up to 64GB of RAM, 6TB of storage and even optional 120Hz display panels. All of this hardware is present inside the 17.3-inch gaming laptop, so itโs quite impressive that this much power is tucked inside a gaming machine. The Eurocom Sky X9E2 notebook supports socketed processors, which can range from, Intel Core i7-6700K, i5-6600K and i7-6700.
For storage purposes, the Eurocom Sky X9E2 can integrate up to two 2.5โ/9.5mm SSDs or HDDs as well as up to two M.2-2280 NVMe SSDs, which equals two more terabytes. For higher flexibility purposes, the laptop also has a 6-in-1 card reader as well as two Thunderbolt 3.0 ports, coupled with five USB 3.0 connectors. For connectivity purposes, the Sky X9E2 has two Killer Networking E2400 GbE controllers as well as one M.2-2230 Wi-Fi 802.11ac with Bluetooth controller.
Customers can choose between a FHD (1080p) or UHD (2160p) panel, along with a 120Hz refresh rate to maximize the fluidity of their gaming sessions. Choosing a 120Hz panel will obviously increase the price tag to new-found heights so be careful with the purchase and continue looking at your bank balance while you configure the laptop.
The Eurocom Sky X9E2 comes with either a 330W or 660W PSU. The 660W power supply is going to have to be chosen when you want to run two GPUs in NVIDIAโs SLI configuration, so the price is going to increase from not only installing a dual-GPU setup, but by adding a larger PSU. The starting price of these Eurocom gaming notebooks is $2499, and if you decide to purchase the highest configured gaming laptop, the price tag would reach the $10000 mark.
