“With the launch of miniTV, Amazon.in shopping app is now a single destination for customers to shop from millions of products, make payments and watch free entertainment videos,” Amazon said in its official blogpost.
In Settings, the company has added parental controls to miniTV for viewing based on maturity and age rating. The two options available are “Unrestricted” and “Restricted” viewing.
“Unrestricted” viewing shows videos for all ages, while “Restricted” viewing displays only videos that are suitable for children younger than 13 years.

You can enjoy unlimited entertainment without interruption. Further, there is no option to download videos for offline viewing.
While Amazon has just launched its in-app streaming service in India, its competitor Flipkart had already launched Flipkart Video, an India-based OTT (Over the Top) video streaming platform in 2019.
Flipkart Video, an ad-based platform, offers a wide variety of shows, movies and short films for free. All you need is a Flipkart account and a data connection to view content on the app.
