How To Fix Flickering Grayscale display Issue By Android Focus Mode

Android Smartphone users across several brands are reporting a Flickering Grayscale Display Issue while using several apps.

The apps that were under the Android focus mode list on digital Wellbeing are displayed in black and white or Grayscale with occasional flashes in color.

Removing the Android focus mode should fix it, but it does not.

It seems like there is a bug and it is affecting several major brand phones, including Oneplus, Poco, Motorola, Nokia, Oppo, Redmi, and others.

How To Fix Flickering Grayscale Display Issue On Android?

There is no official fix to this issue. However, there is a way using which you can fix the Grayscale black and white flashing issue which we found from the official Android support forum of Google and Reddit.

Open settings > Digital Wellbeing Delete all app timers, bedtime mode, focus mode, or any other schedules.

Disable Focus Mode

Next,

Go to settings->Apps->Digital Wellbeing (select the app with the issue)->Force Stop and Clear Storage.

Now restart your phone.

These steps will surely fix the grayscale issue on your Android phone.
