Motorola Moto E (Gen 1) now available for Rs.4,999 on Flipkart

Lenovo owned Motorola has once again slashed the prices of its smartphone range in India by Rs.2000.00, in view of the stiff competition given by Indian and Chinese brands like Micromax, Asus and Xiaomi. The Motorola’s Moto E (1st Gen) which was launched at Rs.6,999 is now available for Rs.4,999 on Flipkart.

The other smartphones which are also now available cheaper are Moto E (2nd Gen) 3G and 4G version. The Moto E (2nd  Gen) 3G is now available for Rs.6999.00 while the 4G version now retails at Rs.7999.00. Earlier Motorola has slashed the prices of its Moto G (2nd Gen) 3G from Rs.12,999.00 to Rs.10,999.00.

The dual-SIM Moto E (1st Gen) comes with a 4.3-inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protective covering. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor and runs on 1GB RAM. It has 4GB internal memory which is expandable to 32GB via microSD slot.

For creativity, the Moto E has a 5MP rear camera but doesnt feature a front camera. It runs on Android KitKat 4.4.4 which is upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop. The Moto E has a non-removable 1980 mAh battery.
